I ended up getting the Luraco i9 Max Plus SE after dealing with lingering back and shoulder issues from an old accident. I was going to physical therapy, but the hard part was always the days in between when everything would tighten back up again.
This chair is not just a light, relaxing massage. It actually gets into the muscles in a way that reminds me more of real hands. The stretching programs have been the biggest help. My lower back feels more open after using it, and my shoulders are not constantly creeping up and getting tight throughout the day. The rollers feel stronger and wider in this chair, compared to any other chair we've tried out there.
I use it a few times a week, usually at night, and it helps me stay loose between sessions so I am not starting over every time I go back to therapy. That has probably been the biggest benefit for me.
Also worth mentioning, we went with curbside delivery and I am really glad we did. It saved a good amount, and putting it together was way easier than I expected + we got our chair quicker this way. Took under 30 minutes, no stress, nothing complicated.
It is definitely not a casual purchase, but if you are dealing with real tension or trying to stay on top of recovery at home, it has been a solid investment for me.
