I’m a nurse, so I’m constantly on my feet, leaning over patients, and charting when I can. I started getting this really specific tight spot right between my shoulder blades, slightly more on the right side, that would build throughout my shift.
This chair is the first thing I’ve used that actually gets into that exact area. It doesn’t just glide over it. The rollers slow down and stay on that spot long enough to feel it release. After about 10 to 15 minutes, I can feel my shoulders drop instead of being pulled forward.
I also used to get that tension creeping up into my neck, right at the base of my skull. After using this a few times a week, that pressure has backed off a lot, especially after longer shifts.
I usually use it when I get home, and the difference is pretty immediate. I’m not sitting there rolling my shoulders or trying to stretch everything out just to feel normal again. It actually feels like that built up tension from the day gets worked out instead of just ignored.
For how specific my tension is from work, this has been one of the few things that actually targets it the right way.
