Can You Buy Infinity Massage Chairs at Costco?
Infinity massage chairs have appeared at Costco through warehouse displays, online listings, and occasional roadshow events, but not every location carries them. Costco's inventory rotates based on region, season, and vendor agreements. If you're considering this route, confirm current availability directly with your local warehouse or Costco's website, since offerings can change without notice.
What Infinity Massage Chair Models Does Costco Carry?
Costco's Infinity selection typically represents a narrower slice of the brand's full lineup rather than every model Infinity produces. This means two chairs bearing the Infinity name could have very different features, roller systems, or price points. Always confirm the exact model number and specifications rather than assuming consistency across the brand.
Buying an Infinity Massage Chair at Costco: What Should You Compare?
When buying an Infinity massage chair at Costco, evaluate these factors carefully:
- Massage mechanism and roller technology
- Track design (2D, 3D, or 4D)
- Body scanning capability
- Zero gravity positioning
- Air compression coverage
- Foot and calf massage features
- Heat therapy options
- Stretching programs
- Recommended user height and weight range
- Seat and shoulder fit
- Space requirements for recline
- Number of preset programs and customization
- Warranty length and coverage
- Delivery and installation details
- Post-sale service and support
Two chairs under the same brand name can feel completely different in practice, so specifications matter more than the label.
Costco Pricing and Massage Chair Promotions
Costco pricing, including any roadshow discounts or member-only offers, can shift throughout the year. Rather than focusing solely on the sticker price, compare the full package: warranty terms, delivery service, setup assistance, and after-sale support. A lower upfront price isn't necessarily the better value if service and support are limited.
Costco Massage Chair Roadshows and Special Events
Massage chair roadshows allow shoppers to sit in and test a chair before buying, which can be genuinely useful given how personal comfort preferences are. However, roadshow schedules and participating warehouses vary and change often, so don't assume a past event reflects current availability.
Warranty and Service Considerations
Before purchasing, confirm what the manufacturer's warranty actually covers, including parts, labor, and in-home service. Understand who you'd contact if something goes wrong: the manufacturer, Costco, or a third-party servicer. Warranty terms can differ depending on where and how the chair was purchased.
Costco Return Policy and Massage Chairs
Large items like massage chairs involve unique return logistics, including size, weight, and freight considerations. General Costco return policies may not apply identically to every massage chair purchase, so it's worth confirming the specific terms for your item before buying.
Delivery, Setup, and Installation
Clarify exactly what delivery includes: threshold delivery, room-of-choice placement, or full assembly. Measure doorways, hallways, stairs, and elevators in advance, since massage chairs are bulky and placement issues can complicate delivery day.
Costco vs. an Authorized Infinity Massage Chair Retailer
Authorized retailers and showrooms often provide access to a broader range of Infinity massage chairs, hands-on product expertise, and personalized fit recommendations. Costco may offer convenience and occasional promotional pricing. The right channel depends on whether you prioritize expert guidance and selection or a more streamlined shopping experience.
Why Trying an Infinity Massage Chair Before Buying Can Matter
Massage intensity, roller placement, shoulder width, leg length, and footwell size are deeply personal. What feels ideal to one person may feel awkward to another. Visiting a showroom to test multiple chairs side by side is one of the most reliable ways to avoid buyer's remorse.
Questions to Ask Before Buying
- Is this model part of Infinity's regular lineup?
- What massage mechanism does it use?
- What are the recommended height and weight ranges?
- What warranty is included, and who handles service?
- What delivery and assembly are included?
- Can I test this exact model beforehand?
- Are there comparable models I should try first?
Costco Infinity Massage Chairs: Making the Right Choice
Choosing between Costco Infinity massage chairs and other purchasing channels comes down to research. Compare the exact model, warranty coverage, delivery details, and service support rather than relying on brand name alone. Whenever possible, sit in the chair before buying. Comfort, fit, and massage preference are personal, and a knowledgeable massage chair expert can help match you to the right chair for your height, weight, and budget, something a big box display often can't replicate.
